Membership
Fifth Avenue Synagogue is a Kehillah dedicated to elevating the sacred tenets and principles of Orthodox Judaism. Our warm and vibrant community stands on the strength, energy, and passion of its members and we offer opportunities for involvement for all ages and stages of life. An historic synagogue located in the heart of Manhattan, Fifth Avenue Synagogue is proud to open its doors to Jews across New York and from across the globe.
Our Community
Membership at Fifth Avenue is a reinforced commitment to the sacred principles of Judaism and an entree into a community that offers opportunities for daily and weekly prayer services, observance of the holidays, daily opportunities for inspired learning, and communal activities and Jewish-themed social events.

Application
While our community depends on the generous financial support of our members, we also believe that the cost of membership should never prevent anyone from becoming a member of Fifth Avenue Synagogue. Family Membership*Annual Membership Dues: $3,000 Two Seats for the High Holidays Participation in small group programming Leadership opportunities Pastoral and community support during lifecycle events and times of need (including access to the FAS cemetery) Opportunity to participate in FAS Hebrew School and Bar/Bat Mitzvah Training (additional fees apply). Priority consideration for Creative Playschool and other educational programs Facilities usage and rentals Use of the Mikvah *While our community depends on the generous financial support of our members, we also believe that the cost of membership should never prevent anyone from becoming a member of Fifth Avenue Synagogue.
